Thumbs up to Ryan Zimmerman who got his PNC Bank bobble head on 9/8’s Nationals versus Marlins day game. On the lead off spot, Gorkys Hernandez hit a 6th pitch Solo Homer off starter Ross Detwiler and just two batters later, Giancarlo-Cruz Michael Stanton hit a rocket into the opposing bullpen in left-center field. Then in the first three innings the Nationals were blanked by Mark Buehrle. They got on the board when Jesus Flores tapped a solo jack into the flower bed in left field. It was like a foul ball tap. Then the bobble head person hit a two run dinger into the overhead of the left field ‘pen. Jayson Werth hit a solo homer into the Red Porch Loft, Restaurant, Bar, and Spirits in center field. Then pinch-hitter Corey Brown hit a walk-off single in the 10th 🙂 and the Nationals won. There was also a two-hour, thirty-three minute rain delay. During the delay, the Nationals were watching college football in the clubhouse.
I WAS THERE WITH MY MOM, DAD, BROTHER, SISTER, AND BABYSITTER! WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY BECAUSE OF THE RAIN DELAY AND MY BABY SISTER WAS SCREAMING HER HEAD OFF.
