The walk-up song is one of the more simple aspects of the gameday experience, yet it allows fans to get to know a player’s personality in a way unique to baseball. I’ve always loved hearing what players choose for their entrance music, and I’ve been exposed to many different genres of music thanks to simply going to baseball games. 

Recently, before I went to a Nats game, I took a look at the Nats’ “official” walk-up music playlist on the team website to get a preview of what I would hear at the ballpark. After the game, I realized that the list is incredibly outdated. It still lists players’ 2022 songs and doesn’t have entries for all players (although it shares two DFAd players’ song choices!). 

Let this post serve as an updated Nationals’ walk-up music playlist. I will monitor this post after I go to games to make sure that players’ most recent walk-up songs are included. I will also link a Spotify playlist with these songs to help you get in the gameday mood before a Nats game (click the Spotify logo in the top right to open in the Spotify app).
