The New York Yankees made a giant move to stay alive in the AL East- re-signing Hiroki Kuroda. Kuroda was probably the Most Valuable Player runner-up in the ALDS. He won seventeen games as a starter in the regular season- beating out CC SABATHIA for most wins on the team. His contract expires off season next year.
