Kansas City Royals acquire P’s James Shields and a Player to be named later or cash from Tampa Bay for Jake Odorizzi, Patrick Leonard, Mike Montgomery, and top prospect Wil Myers. Wil Myers’ future with Kansas City was questioned all through; that’s when I heard his name. Myers is a mega prospect and Shields is a 8-9 inning guy, so it was a win-win for the trade.
