Before Thanksgiving, I published my 2014 Holiday Gift Guide for Kids, which has a whole bunch of ideas for presents that I know kids who love baseball will  love to receive.  How am I so sure?  Because I’m a kid, and it’s a list of the things that I use myself or want to get!

MLB is a great card game for the whole family.  It’s made for kids 7 years and older, but even my 3 year old sister loves to play it too.  This is a compact card game that you can take with you if you are traveling for the holidays.  The MLB edition uses symbols from the baseball world, including logos, catchphrases, equipment, ballpark food, and mascots. Play Ball! by International Playthings is another fun little card game for baseball fans of all ages. I kind of think of it as a baseball version of Wheel of Fortune because you use a spinner to move your players (little helmets) around the field and see if you get a hit, get tagged out, or maybe even hit a home run. For under $10, PlayBall! is a great stocking stuffer, but you can also enter to win one for free!
