As the 2012 National League Championship Series shifted to St. Louis, sports writers and fans agreed that the Cardinals would win on their home field. It seemed unrealistic to eventually go down 2-1 and find a way to clinch the title anyways. But under the arms of “underdog aces” Barry Zito and Ryan Vogelsong, the Giants couldn’t be more dominant. In the LCS, the duo carried two records, unbreakable. Ryan’s record stood at a surprising 2-0, while Barry’s awesome record of 1-0. Look at a Giants jersey. If you stare at it for a couple minutes, you’ll start to think”Wow. This team almost lost the NLDS. And now they’re at a game 7, a win away from World Series contention.” But if you see a Cardinals jersey, you’ll probably think this”This team practically won the series. Already. But I’m ready to see them be kicked out.”
WORLD SERIES NOTES:)

THE MAIN PART OF THE DEAL
THE BOSTON RED SOX AGREED TO TERMS WITH JOHN FARRELL AS THEIR NEW MANAGER. FARRELL MANAGED THE TORONTO BLUE JAYS IN 2011 AND 2012, AND SERVED AS THE RED SOX’ PITCHING COACH FROM 2007 TO 2010.
THE MIAMI MARLINS, ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS, AND THE OAKLAND A’S PARTICIPATE IN A THREE-TEAM DEAL. MIAMI SENDS HEATH BELL TO ARIZONA, ARIZONA SENDS CHRIS YOUNG TO OAKLAND, OAKLAND SENDS CLIFF PENNINGTON TO ARIZONA, AND ARIZONA SENDS YORDY CABRERA TO MIAMI.
THE MAIN PART OF THE DEAL IS HEATH BELL. HE STARTED OFF WITH THE METS IN 2007, GOT TRADED TO THE SAN DIEGO PADRES IN 2009, AND WAS TRADED TO MIAMI IN THE 2011-2012 OFF SEASON. BELL PERFORMED POORLY AS A MARLIN, AND I GUESS OZZIE GUILLEN WAS DONE TURNING THE BALL TO HIM IN THE NINTH INNING. BELL BLEW LOTS OF SAVES, INCLUDING ONES AGAINST THE CLEVELAND INDIANS AND WASHINGTON NATIONALS. I FEEL KIRK GIBSON WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE USING J.J. PUTZ AS A SET-UP MAN BECAUSE MORE FANS WOULD WANT TO SEE BELL. KIRK ALSO WANTS HIM TO BE A REINVENTED PERSON. HIS FASTBALL/SLIDER COMBO BLURS HITTERS AWAY, BUT IT’S HIS HANGING CURVE THAT HITTERS POUNDED. HE WAS AWARDED WITH THE LEAGUE LEAD IN BLOWN SAVES WITH TWENTY-NINE OF THEM, AND THE GM DAVID STINSON MADE A TEAM SAVING CHOICE IN TRADING BELL.
