It was a complete thriller. Chris Capuano, who played the Nats on 4/29 and got a no decision as in the bottom of the ninth Matt Kemp ( who was safe on that terrible call yesterday, by the way) hit a three run walk off homer off Tom Gorzelanny. But Chris wasn’t the same last night. He gave up four runs. But in the ninth, this is what Bob Carpenter said. “Nationals fans, the wait is over!” The Washington Nationals are going to the postseason, the second time in MTL/WAS history. The last time the Montreal Expos went to the postseason, Rick Monday hit a walk-off homer and the Dodgers beat the Expos in the Championship series. So the postseason bracket will look like this Reds v. Giants, and Nationals v. wild card winner. NATS NEWS!
