Now good, number 24, Kurt Suzuki!

How many times has Kurt Suzuki thrown out a runner in the AL? I don’t know. But the number of quality hits he got with the Nats is amazing. Uh, he has cinco homers! But in the game last night, Michael Morse hit a liner that ended in between the 8 foot wall and the electronic billboard in right field and the umpires called a safe sign, which means the ball is in play. The Nats on base got confused, and there was a baserunning backup and Morse was tagged out. The umps called an instant replay, and they explained something to the Nationals dugout. Sean Burnett and a few other players started clapping, and Morse was awarded a grand slam. Morse had to run backwards to the box to swing, and he did a invisible bat swing and re-created his swing and trotted around the bases. It was the play of the year. In the 10th, Suzuki hit a 2 run double and went go-ahead. Craig Stammen closed the door, and the Nats won.
